Join The Rice City Players at The Grand Opera House of the South for an unforgettable evening of laughter, lovable misfits, and unexpectedly moving moments. Follow six middle-schoolers, each with their own hopes, quirks, and wildly competitive spirit, as they battle for the coveted spelling championship. Complete with improvised moments, audience participation, and a score bursting with energy, this Tony Award–winning musical promises a night of pure fun.
There will be 4 Audience Volunteers per performance. Volunteers can sign up at their performance 1 hour before show time. Spellers will be selected 15 minutes before the show starts.
Run Time: Approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
